  38. 50 US$ was to re-build them in the '80s NMOS technology to make the "new" A1200
  39. in a rush.

  41. I heard they're working "to make AGA consume less", this means to use the
  42. modern and much cheaper 0.8/0.5 micron technology, that besides being much
  43. cheaper, it allows also much better speed and a single chip solution (Alice,
  44. Lisa,Paula into one chip).

  46. The re-built of the old NMOS process for the rush to produce A1200's is over
  47. now, I hope (!?), because there's no need to not make them in the technology
  48. currently everywhere available and cheap.

  50. As far as I know, the whole AGA chipset could cost some US$ today (max 10).
